Arlen Decorte:
Ermelinda Stalnaker: Did he really say that? When? During last night's debate? Is it posted on YouTube? What newspaper did you find this quote? Was it online? What's the web address? I've got to see this! I can't believe he would say something so cruel and unfeeling as a woman's health was not important! Has he lost his mind? A presidential candidate stating that pregnant woman's health is not important? This is major, MAJOR news! I'm putting on CNN right now. It must be ALL over the airwaves as we speak! This is incredible! Absolutely amazing! I need to get to the bottom of this!...Show more
Maynard Reevers:
Alonso Crehan: Because he will never be a pregnant woman and he doesn't care about anyone else but himself and winning the White House
Travis Colomb: Don't listen to that mailing from Planned Parenthood. They are sort of like MoveOn.Org with their endorsement of Barack Obama.
Daren Ventrice: Apparently y! ou didn't watch the debate last night.
Ayesha Genova: John McCain, war hero and a good American overall made a terrible mistake and put Palin on the national ticket of the Republican Party in order to satisfy the Evangelicals in the party. I am sure he regrets it and not only because she was a factor in his defeat. She won't go away because a sizable minority of Americans take her seriously--which is either flat out funny or terribly sad depending on your perspective.
Dorinda Metzer: Might be easier to answer that question if you provided some information about what leads you to draw that conclusion, because I've never seen it.Edit: The debate!! That's what you are referring to?? Oh, come on! Since when doe late term abortions got anything to do with women's health? I've got news for you. I've worked in OB for a number of years. When a woman's REAL health (not emotional issues that are often at the real heart of late-term abortions) is threatened by a pregnanc! y, one of two things happens. Either the woman receives a cesa! rean section if there is a chance of saving the baby OR labor is induced if the baby is dead. A late term abortion is NOT... I repeat NOT... medically indicated....Show more
Lulu Bukowiecki: First of all, Pakistan is not our last ally. And they are a borderline ally at best. Pakistan is already a safe-haven for terrorists.
Burt Cheevers: Why does she upset you so much? There are so many more less relevant people who won't go away.... see Hollywood.
Toby Caswell: She'd be a far better president than what's there now....& little obsessed Libs like to keep her in our thoughts. We want 0bama to just go away. By the way, you may be able to rent the property on the other side of her.......
Tomeka Hameen: what do you expect from a 72 year old sexist who thinks it's more important for insurance companies to cover viagra than breast cancer screenings
Kalyn Proietto: I'm sure he does feel it is important, why would anyone believe he doesn't?..
Jo! nathon Labonne: Yes they are. Very good post.Liberals, in my experience, don't always see the larger picture or think things through to their logical conclusion.
Rivka Killmer: She won't go away because you LIBS Crave her.She gets 10x the coverage on MSNBC than she does on FOX !It's the Dems plan to keep her in the spotlight.
Lizzette Wendroth: Ah yes, McCain put air quotes around "women's health" in the debate last night when Obama said he is against late term abortions except when a woman's health is concerned. The reason McCain did that is because what defines "women's health" is very broad and can include psychological distress due to being forced to give birth to a child she doesn't want. I don't agree with that, but people are entitled to their opinions. McCain's inartful way of addressing the issue, however, made him look very unpresidential and further confirms my belief that he is not the best candidate to lead this country. ...Show more
Marit! a Stadick: Isn't it funny, that Sarah Palin had a better job approval r! ating when she QUIT than Obama had in his first year of office?
Dick Maisenbacher: Obviously, you are a biased person. McCain didn't say "the health of the mother isn't important" or anything like that. They were debating on late term abortion and Roe V. Wade when Obama was defending his "no" vote on the Infant Born Alive Act in the Illinois senate, he stated that he supported a ban on late term abortions as long as the mother's health was an exception. McCain criticized Obama and the entire pro-choice left that they've "stretched" this health issue to mean anything but health. He basically accused them of using a tactic to make abortion more permissible and that tactic was making people believe that all abortions in some way are done because of the woman's health.I'm not voting for either of them but McCain never said the mother's health isn't important. He was taking a swipe at Obama and denouncing the fact that they use the health issue as a way to justify abortion! s....Show more
Jene Licausi: I know this is only one small point in the vast array of everything concerning Obama's issues, but my earlier asked question about McCain's houses made me think of this.Aren't Dems, and especially those running for office (Obama), supposed to be for the very values our nation was made on. Why should they even care how many homes McCain owns if they claim to be for the "American Dream" every "little man" has (as if that's not condescending enough).?If McCain was fortunate enough to be able to position himself with the ability to own multiple houses, then why would the Dems feel that was something negative, since he was able to accomplish what the Dems claim they want to make possible for the middle class (which is the only class they ever talk about).?Lastly, why would it matter to them how he got his wealth in order to afford the houses? I had a lot of responses from people stating that the issue was that he married into wealth. Why is ! this a problem for McCain, yet revered in almost any liberal star in ho! llywood, or even Paris Hilton who is just an heiress? Really, this situation seems like something all of you Dems should be supporting, not trying to spin into something negative, it only puts yet another contradiction on your side....Show more
Freeman Rutkin: Because according to him, you are a chicken that's just here to lay eggs. I found that so fundamentally disrespecting. Even my pro-life colleagues were turned off by his comments.I hope his mother reminds him of whom he has to thank for his success.
Jen Maday: He feels the same pity and compassion, as he felt towards the health and wellbeing of Carol, the woman who bore of his own children.
Hermina Ketring: Palin 2012
Lana Uliano: I wish the moderator would have asked a follow up. McCain, you tell a joke about a woman being raped by and ape and enjoying it. Would you as president allow a woman to get an abortion if a ape raped her and she had some type of ape human hybrid fetus inside of h! er that could danger her health?
Veta Slicker: The liberal media is obsessed with her so there is your answer. I feel bad for her because they have twisted her words and image into something she really isn't. She is a smart woman with good values, that's a threat enough.
Leif Andreason: Most men think that way. All men want to know about pregnant women is when can they have sex again.Face it as long as America elects men from the good old boys club to be president (like Obama and McCain) nothing will change. If there is no woman on your ballot write one in.We need a Woman President ...Show more
Frederick Mccoach: Why are you all Sarah Palin haters? She's a very smart lady and actually knows more than our country than you all do. And why would she go away? She's engaging in politics... it's what she's suppose to do.
Oren Eskelsen: Ha Ha Liberals did so you can blame them. They still talk about her on here!I don't want her to go away because she riles! up some liberalson here.
Marhta Teahan: The morons who made Obam! a president are making her relevant because she distracts us from him running America into the ground.
