Olin Hallin: 14 industry days method monday-friday. saturdays and sundays don't rely as 'industry days', for this reason when you ordered anything in these days (monday, december 1st), 14 industry days might finish on thursday december 18th! this week is five industry days, subsequent week is one other five, after which four days of the following week totals 14...wish that is sensible:)
Bryan Avinger: 24 Hours
Horace Escue: It depends on what you mean by business day. Often you will hear you have so many business days to get something like a payment in to a business. Business days in this context are Monday through Friday. Saturday and Sunday are not normally considered business days. If you are referring to a normal work day or business day in the context of hours worked the following is correct.A business typical day is 8 hours. A week is 40 hours. A month is 173.34 hours and a year is 2000 hours (in the US). The rule of thumb is 8am to 5pm including ! a 1 hour lunch. There are many variations but the most common is working four 10 hour days rather than five 8 hour days.Hope that helps!...Show more
